RS2 Architects is a licensed architecture studio founded in 2006. Located in downtown Wheaton, Illinois, we specialize in the future of our clients’ residential and commercial properties.

Our principals, Erick Roldan and Chuck Seen, share a combined experience of over 25 years in all phases of architecture services, including residential, commercial, municipal, aquatic and recreational projects. We specialize in residential remodeling and room additions, as well as the adaptive reuse of older commercial structures

We stress and encourage our clients to partake in the design process. We approach all our projects as a journey with our clients by using an interactive process that includes the exchange of ideas translated to tangible form. The presentation of these tangible drawings and models allows a client’s ideas and goals to take shape in a physical form – a distance between the idea and form is established. This process of making, reviewing and revising the drawings and models focuses the idea, allowing us to arrive at the finished design after several iterations of the process. The distance between idea and form closes. The form becomes the embodiment of the idea. The design emerges.
